This is a great shoe at a great price. They bounce back as quickly as any running shoe. There is no gel in the ball of the foot area only in the heal which is noticeable if you have had gels that have both. This is the third best running shoe I have ever owned. #'s 1 2 and 4 were also ASICS. This has to be the best value shoe for the price. If you have never had ASICS you should try these as they will probably be better than any other brand of running shoe you are using at any price as I have tried most brands usually the more expensive ones.
